The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Minicabs Muswell Hill. By booking a taxi and using our services, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
1. Definitions
In this agreement, "Minicabs Muswell Hill," "we," or "us" refer to the company providing the taxi service. The terms "you" and "your" can refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 It is your responsibility to allow sufficient time for your journey to ensure you arrive at your destination on time. This includes all airport transfers, where timely check-in for your flight is essential. Minicabs Muswell Hill will not be held responsible for delays caused by your failure to allocate adequate time for your journey or your unavailability for pick-up at the scheduled time.
2.2 You are responsible for ordering a vehicle of appropriate size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. Minicabs Muswell Hill does not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair access should request this at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotes are based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices are exclusive of VAT. If applicable, VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to modify the provided quote if there are substantial changes to the planned itinerary.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time, as well as the cost of airport parking. Any waiting time beyond this period will be subject to the standard Minicabs Muswell Hill waiting rate. While we will make efforts to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Minicabs Muswell Hill of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we will not be held responsible.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made using cash, credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Any damage, soiling, or adverse impact on the vehicle caused by a passenger may result in a cleaning fee.4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are not allowed in the vehicle.
4.3 All children in the vehicle must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are prohibited from carrying more passengers than allowed by our licensing and insurance.
5. Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Minicabs Muswell Hill, please contact us as soon as possible. If the cancellation occurs after the vehicle has been dispatched, a charge will be incurred based on the time and distance traveled by the driver up to the point of cancellation.
5.2 If you booked through our online system and canceled before dispatch, a cancellation fee may apply to the initial payment.
6. Liability
6.1 While Minicabs Muswell Hill will make every effort to ensure you reach your destination on time, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. Minicabs Muswell Hill will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business under any circumstances.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 If the vehicle experiences a breakdown during your journey with Minicabs Muswell Hill, we will attempt to provide an alternative vehicle to help you reach your destination as soon as possible.
6.4 You will not hold Minicabs Muswell Hill responsible for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter classified as unenforceable under applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of the vehicle or driver is jeopardized by your actions, including abuse, violence, or damage, or by any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Minicabs Muswell Hill may delegate its obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of your obligations or rights under this agreement.
8.2 Minicabs Muswell Hill may modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. We recommend reviewing these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Minicabs Muswell Hill and yourself.
8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer any benefit or advantage on a third party. No third party may enforce rights under this agreement without a separate written agreement.
9. Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the date of the booked pickup. Minicabs Muswell Hill is not obliged to consider claims and disputes made after this timeframe.
